Costa Rican Pacific Coast is a paradise for anglers that come to visit us from all around the world. They usually get here attracted by the numerous world records in different categories (species) that have been achieved within our geography and that have been vastly documented in specialized magazines. Another reason is that there is good fishing all year round: Each month being excellent or good for the different species, either those dwelling closer to the shore or those who prefer the deeper waters (Click on Fishing Chart for more information) All of our captains are well-experienced and fully bilingual and they love to fish more than any other thing in the world. For our different excursions we use the following boats:

  • 27’ Trophy

PASCUA RIVER RAFTING     $ 95.00 - RESERVE

There are several different canopy tours around Costa Rica giving tourists the opportunity to view the rainforest at a unique up close angle.

This cable system for travel was first used by spelunkers (cavers) and by canyon dwellers in providing a secure passage over the earth's floor and has now been adapted in the environmentalist tourism industry.

We recommend this option for those who seek adventure as well as experiencing natural wildlife from a very close perspective. A day packed with long-lasting impressions.

After departing, it will take only 1½ hours to get to the Sarapiqui region, passing through one of our most exuberant places: Braulio Carrillo National Park. Once there, you’ll board a specially designed motorboat to explore the banks of majestic Sarapiqui River. Animal sightings are very frequent: Monkeys, aquatic birds, huge iguanas, sloths, toucans, small river turtles and many others. Once at the canopy’s facilities you’ll be given a snack to energize yourself before this thrilling experience begins. After an explanation on safety procedures and the basic principles on how the canopy works, a suspension bridge and 14 platforms with their respective zip lines await you for two hours of packed adrenaline. After all that action, a complete home-style lunch will be provided. You’ll have the opportunity to visit their frog sanctuary and butterfly garden. Many of the tiny, colorful and poisonous frogs from our rainforests can be seen among other species of amphibians. Those who like riding a horse will have some time left to do so, before returning to San Jose.

This Tour departs from Don Carlos Hotel at 11:00 a.m. and gets back at 6:30 p.m. approximately. A complete lunch is included.
